Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around in the playpen as I worked 12-hour days cleaning the floors, as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! The house was getting closer to finishing, but we were a long distance away. To furnish the home it would be an enormous undertaking in terms of time and money. Also, I had go to my favorite stores. My three sons and me looked for treasures hidden at estate sales to keep my spending under control. The weekly ritual was that we would walk through estate and garage sales on Thursdays and Saturdays buying a mixture of new and old pieces. Then I would spend working on my projects out in the driveway. The furniture I found looked like... that's when my desire to repair furniture began. Even though the house was decorated, I was unable to put down. There was a place in the market that I could sell my items. My collection eventually grew to the point that the space I had available was inadequate. I started having open houses at my house where over 1 000 people came through on one weekend, and purchase whatever they saw on the ground floor. This is where my business Growing Days was born. My business was booming and my family was also growing. As a mom of a child I was able to find the perfect balance to both start my own business as well as become a great mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. Nora joined us in 2013 as our 4th baby. This was a fantastic direction for my business, but I also needed an escape. I decided to put off doing work on my furniture and be at home with the children. This was precisely what I wanted. In the course of a few months, the phone began to start to. They were asking for assistance with interior decorating and home renovations. A majority of these were those who had walked through my house during furniture open houses! It didn't seem long until I managed a large-scale business for home improvement. It began with taking clients on one in a manner that I felt at ease with. If you had told me that my business would be an idea for the DIY Network show, I might have been astonished. In fact, I do laugh when I think about it.
